In GTA VI, buckme is the in-world payment service built to manage the money that survives the streets.
From skyline signs to street-corner ATMs, the community is following buckme’s trail through GTA VI.
THE COMMERCIAL / CYBERLEEK
BUCK WHAT?
This community-shared clip, attributed to the Cyberleek leaks, turns the buckme name into a joke: “buckme” is mistaken for “fuck me.” It’s a cheeky play on words that gives the fictional banking brand a dose of GTA-style satire.
Shared as community lore; its origin and status as official GTA VI footage have not been independently verified.
01 / THE APP
THE BANKED LAYER.
Previews and reference material describe buckme as a mobile banking app for managing stored cash across Leonida.
02 / THE ATM
CASH IN. CASH SAFE.
On-hand cash can be deposited through ATMs. The banked balance is designed to sit apart from the risk of carrying cash.
03 / THE NARRATIVE
THE RAILS ARE VISIBLE.
The Solana token $b is a community-led speculative interpretation of this in-game money story, not an official Rockstar product.
04 / THE BANKED BALANCE
CASH ON YOU. CASH AT RISK.
The October 19 post describes cash being lost when a player dies, with deposits into buckme offering a safer place for that money. It also notes that Rockstar has not fully revealed how buckme works, so the complete mechanics remain to be seen.
“buckme was right in front of our faces the whole time.” The October 21 post pairs Spotify artwork with a frame from An Extended Look, highlighting the buckme mark on a Vice City building in both images.
The October 26 post points to a buckme mark on a race car at 17:43 in An Extended Look. For the community, the name’s repeated appearances connect the money narrative to more than just ATMs.
The fourth post highlights buckme stickers on ATMs across multiple scenes: Trailer 2 at 0:42, and An Extended Look at 11:51 and 17:32. Combined with the deposit-and-withdrawal narrative, the community reads these sightings as signs of a wider financial ecosystem—not proof of every proposed feature.
$b is the community’s Solana token inspired by these in-world sightings. The token is separate from GTA VI’s fictional money system and is not an official Rockstar product.
